iMovie Trailer
iMovie Reflection:
Using iMovie is a fun experience and an interesting tool for educators. There is a large variety of options to make a movie for almost any subject matter. This trailer I have made is about Martin Luther King Jr. and his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. This applies to my content area of social studies but could also be used in many different classrooms, especially around Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I liked the different themes that a user could pick for these types of projects, but a drawback was that the music could not be changed. Adding texts and pictures was simple on iMovie but adding videos was more complex. iMovie was easy to use with other apps such as YouTube capture, which will help users share their projects. Overall, I thought iMovie was a great tool for everyone, but particularly educators. They can be used in teaching or as a project assignment for the students. To get iMovie download the app and visit my trailer.
